No nursing care. No rest home facilities. No one on duty at night ( phone call available)

Cons

Social facilities not big enough for number of residents. Continuance of Management Fee after vacating unit very unfair.

Supportive but non-intrusive community. Social but respecting of independence. Well designed and appointed apartment and surrounding facilities. Light handed but efficient and caring management and staff. Well placed for shops, GP Chemist and very good outside walks available.

Cons

Financial arrangements all weighted towards the protection of owners interests. Inadequate arrangements to cover for deterioration in health. The expectation of care facility being available was not delivered upon and has now been withdrawn.

I believe the negative comments apply to most independent facilities. The long term financial arrangements are exploitative and need review

Requested property maintenance and repairs not always followed through in a timely fashion and information on where the request is at is not given. Promised care facility not yet under way.
