The Archer website says that the Thorrington Lifestyle Village in Christchurch is Archer's latest edition to the Archer family. Nestled under the Port hills in Thorrington, is both a Retirement Village and Residential Home (previously known as Santa Maria Retirement Village and Rest Home).
The site also states that Thorrington Village comprises of 31 villas, with a combination of two and bedroom villas, some with walk-in garages, and some with a carport available.
Thorrington Village also has 13 serviced Studios that are attached to the Thorrington Home. These Studios provide for a higher level of assisted care and support as required. Residents can also receive rest home care into their studio, when this has been assessed as necessary. It therefore offers a degree of choice and freedom being able to personalise the level of care and support required.
