Service Information

This business is part of ABBEYFIELD.

Abbeyfield Golden Bay is located in Takaka, and offers 12 Studio Units of independent retirement living. The stores, movies, and various eateries are all within a 10-minute walk of Abbeyfield Golden Bay, which is situated in the lively tourist hotspot of Takaka. The house is close to Lake Killarney, a beautiful reserve, and is located far back from the road. The community constructed the one-story house in 2008 with a purpose and it has 11 studio apartments. A self-contained guest room and a self-contained apartment are also available for the in-house housekeeping. Each studio has a tiny enclosed garden, and as the majority of them face north, they all receive lots of sunlight. They each have a tiny kitchenette with room for a small fridge and are equipped with heat pumps for making hot beverages. The dining area and lounge are open and have a view of Lake Killarney. Abbeyfield Golden Bay is a rental retirement house.
